HoCo Hacks 2017

Howard County's original Hackathon

Hack FAQs

What is a hackathon?
A hackathon is an all-day coding marathon. Participants work through the allotted time period to create original projects, software or hardware (less common).

Who can participate?
Participation is limited to high school students from the Howard County Public School System, or who attend high school in Howard County, including private and Catholic schools.

Can I bring a team?
Teams of up to 3 members are encouraged, but if you want to be alone like Greta Garbo, that's fine. You can sign up with the option to be added to a team at the hackathon if you can't find anyone when you sign up.

What else do I bring?
Bring a laptop. Food will be provided, but you can always bring your own. If you have allergies, tell us.
